On our recent trip to Las Vegas, we hit Hoover Dam.
It's about 30 miles east of LV. Notice the blue sign in the first
picture. It says "Nevada Intake Tower." That's one of two
Nevada Intake Towers. Arizona also has 2. Though I don't
need to tell YOU that do I? You have seen the video, right?
It also looks like they are building a bypass bridge so that trucks and thru-traffic don't need to cross over the dam (at 5 MPH.)
